
Bell County Has First Case Of Zika Virus
the Zika virus has arrived in Central Texas!

Bell County Public Health says that a man, who traveled to a Zika-affected area outside of the US, is the first confirmed case of Zika in Bell County, according to KXXV! The virus, which can be transmitted through mosquitoes, from mother to child, through sexual contact, through blood transfusion and through laboratory exposure, is linked to birth defects and neurological symptoms.
