Ok for starters I never thought Beto had a chance to be President.

I'm also, one of those who said then-Senator Barack Obama didn't have a shot either.

And yes, I also said the same thing about the current President.

Back to Beto.

Earlier today, Beto O' Rourke announced that he is dropping out of the race as a Democratic candidate for President.

In an announcement made on Twitter, he wrote:

"Though it is difficult to accept, it is clear to me now that this campaign does not have the means to continue successfully"

In this pool of Democratic candidates (there are still like,18) he seemed to be the most passionate and second youngest at age 46. After the horrible El Paso murders a few months back I thought that was his time to shine, but that didn't happen.

I really think he has a better shot to become United States Senator here in Texas.

If you remember, when he did run for U.S. Senator back in 2018, it was the closest senatorial election in Texas since 1978.

He lost to Senator Ted Cruz by a margin of 50.9 to 48.3, I think if he would have had more time to campaign, he would have edged Cruz, I could be wrong though!

In my opinion, O' Rourke is a political star, from my observation, has the attention of younger voters and though most critics say he lost his "IT" factor it's nothing to regain it.

I recommend that he continues to campaign within Texas and try to become Senator again so there are more Democratic senators in Congress.

Or even try a run for Governor.

He's still got the juice.

Good Luck to him.
