Central Texas Police Officer Hit By Drunk Driver

A Temple police officer was hit by a drunk driver!

The officer at the scene of a traffic accident when the incident happened Saturday night, according to KXXV. The officer was on S. Interstate Highway 35 responding to the accident just before midnight when she was hit. She was taken to Baylor Scott & White and treated for minor injuries. The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
