Chance The Rapper and his family can breathe a sigh of relief today.

Last night (June 27), Chance took a brief break from promoting his upcoming album to inform his followers that his Aunt Toni has found a perfect match for a kidney donor. The Chicago MC couldn't wait to share the great news on his timeline.

"I know I’m supposed to be promoting this preorder but. Today my auntie Toni found a perfect match kidney donor and I just gotta say I serve a promise keeping God THANK YOU JESUS," Chance said in his tweet.

Last month (May 23), Chance pleaded for help in a search to find a kidney donor for his aunt. At the time, Chance said that his family had already done everything they could to find a donor, and turned to social media for any kind of assistance.

"I really need help," Chance wrote in his tweet. "My Auntie Toni is one of the strongest forces in my life, and she is in dire need of a #kidney. We have exhausted all options and have been wait listed for years. My family believes in the power of prayer and we give this problem up to God."

Chance hasn't offered any other details about his aunt's status just yet. However, we're sure he'll will update us soon enough. Meanwhile, Chance is also preparing to drop his next album in July. He recently gave us a glimpse at what to expect on the album with his new song "Groceries" and his verse on YBN Cordae's latest banger "Bad Idea."
