Copperas Cove ISD's board is exploring the possibility of having small groups of students attend lectures in class for summer school.

Looking to the future, and not wanting to use virtual learning online, The Copperas Cove ISD had a board meeting yesterday to discuss possibilities of re-opening for summer school.

KWTX reports the district is thinking about allowing students to attend class this summer in small groups of 6 to 8 students, with all social distancing guidelines intact.

Superintendent Joe Burns stated concerns of students “not being successful with virtual learning and they need more concentrated focused instructing in a small group”

Who is caring about academics at a time like this?

In my opinion, the last thing that we should be thinking about is reopening schools.

Safety first!

What do you think?
