Temple Forgery Suspect

According to Temple Police Department spokesman Chris Christoff, detectives believe she used fraudulent checks to retrieve money at two different places on Tuesday, August 17, one of which was a Texell Credit Union location in Temple. She reportedly got away with approximately $5,000. Yikes.

Detectives were alerted to the check forgery on Monday, September 30 by a local credit union. A customer reported that two fake checks had been used to drain money from from their account.
