It's no secret that Drake may just be hip-hop's number one basketball advocate. Only three months in to 2016 and the Toronto Raptor's Global Ambassador has assisted in carrying out the 2016 NBA All-Star Weekend, hosted the Celebrity All-Star Game, and has set court-side at countless games. Not to mention, the platinum selling rapper is partly responsible for breathing life into the once struggling Canadian NBA franchise.

At each game he's present at, it's as if Aubrey Graham is an assistant coach. Howling from the sidelines and strategizing plays, Drake's attendance makes for some entertaining occurrences. Whether he's simply entranced in the game or accused of ruining one of the greatest basketball photos of all time (Lebron James guarding Kobe Bryant in the Lakers legend's 18th and final All-Star Game),

Drizzy's courtside moments are a win of their own. Drake is fully aware of this, as he highlights his sideline shenanigans on his personal Instagram. His Kobe Bryant inspired OVO "Farewell Mamba" jacket is proof that like everything Drake does, the basketball antics are all part of his strategy.

With his fourth studio album, Views From the 6,  just around the corner, it's certain that Drake will somehow tie the athletic association in with the project. The long-awaited LP will drop in April, but there is not an official release date. Very little is known about the follow-up to 2013's Nothing Was the Same, however, Drake did preview snippets of the project through social media a few months back.

Above, check out a gallery of Drake's best and most recent courtside moments.
