A Central Texas couple and their children received much more than they probably expected during a visit to Waco's Dr Pepper Museum.

Our partners at News 10 reported that Ricardo and Kathryn Robles took their kids Joshua, Samuel, and Seth, took a trip to the Dr Pepper Museum in Waco back on Saturday, May 11. You may remember that the museum was celebrating its 28th birthday that day, and was offering a year's supply of Dr Pepper the 2 millionth visitor.

When the Robles clan walkt through the doors at exactly 1:57 p.m., they were declared the winners. Luckyyyy!

Their prize arrived Thursday, May 30 - enough case of pure cane sugar Dr Pepper to last a year. (If you don't put cans of Dr Pepper away like a trash can the way most of us Texans do. I give that stack about two months.)

The Dr Pepper Museum & Free Enterprise Institute opened its doors on May 11, 1991 and welcomed the millionth visitor back in 2007.

If you've never been to the museum, you really ought to plan a day trip with your family. It's got over 300,000 Dr Pepper artifacts tracing the evolution of the brand since its creation in Waco in 1885. There's even an old fashion soda shop inside where you can grab lunch and grab a Dr Pepper on tap.

If you were lucky enough to go on a field trip to the museum back in school, you probably remember getting to create your own soda and a commercial for it. Good times!
