Funkmaster Flex isn't exactly a Tupac fan. Recently, the legendary East Coast DJ launched into a rant about the late rap icon, insinuating that 'Pac shot himself when he was robbed more than two decades ago.

Anything relating to 'Pac is a testy subject, so plenty of people, including T.I., spoke out against the Hot 97 radio personality after he made those comments. Last night, during an Instagram live session, Flex let loose the real reason behind his rants against the late rapper—and it has everything to do with the murder of The Notorious B.I.G.

"People always say why I said it 20 years later. I said it when the fucking shit was going on. And Biggie wouldn't have fucking died if that nigga hadn't have lied. He lied, and y'all niggas fucking worship him," a teary-eyed Flex said during the live stream.

He continued, "[Tupac] lied. Never, ever said nothing about him. [Tupac] fucking lied! Nobody wants to tell the truth. Y'all niggas don't want to tell the truth? It existed. Worshipping. T.I. talking about G code. That's not G code. That ain't G code. He lied and Biggie died. That's my only issue. That's it bro. Why's that so hard? What's so hard about that. You think that's cool? You think that's good? We worship that? I don't worship that and I won't and I don't have to. I still have morals. I still have morals, I give a fuck. He lied, and he carried that lie to years to his graves. He knew Biggie didn't lie and set him up. Niggas shot and killed Big because of what he said."

Flex went on to reach out to Suge Knight's son, giving his father props for giving Diddy and company the "blueprint" for how to be successful in the rap game. At the beginning of the video, he made sure to let Tip know he'd always supported Digital Underground—a group 'Pac was a part of in the earliest phases of his career—since 1990, when T.I. was just a 10-year-old kid.

You can watch Flex's entire video below. He unveils his reason for ranting about 'Pac at around the 32-minute mark. He mentions Suge at around the 34-minute mark.
