Who wants to get cookie wasted? Crumbl Cookies is now open in Temple, Texas. They are hosting their grand opening today from 8am - 12am. It's going to be an all day and night party. Who’s meeting me there? Seriously. I drove by earlier, and realized I haven't even tried the cult favorite cookie shop. Whenever I pass by the Harker Heights location, there is always a line.

Sweet Rewards

It's nice to know that I can leave the studio for a sweet fix any time of the day. What I heard and love, is that they are looking forward to serving up the Temple community with the cookies that crumble in yo' mouth. What I think is even sweeter, is that they are locally owned and operated and the owners are serving up employment opportunities as well. They are providing more than 60 career opportunities right here in Temple. Who needs a job?

I have heard so much about this place and have yet to try them. Well today will be the day. Who knows, maybe Crumbl and K-Lew can be partners. Maybe a cookie named after me? Ok, the ideas are flowing, lol. Now, if you plan to go check them out, the grand opening week menu will contain 6 of the 200+ weekly rotating flavors including Crumbl's award-winning Milk Chocolate Chip. Woop woop.

Top 20 Restaurants Central Texans Wish Would Come to Temple

A while back, I asked the good people of Temple if they could picture a good restaurant to fill the lot on North General Bruce Drive where the soon to be torn down Long John Silver's stood.

This was before it was announced that a Dutch Bros. Coffee location would open there (which was one of the places I predicted as a contender in our article).

So now Dutch Bros. is open in that spot, but the responses to my survey were interesting because they paint a picture of just how diverse Temple's population is. People recommended some familiar restaurants with locations in the surrounding area, but also a few I'd never even heard of.

Here are the top 20 results of the survey. Let's see what the good people of Temple are craving!
