Jason Witten Leaves TV Job at ESPN, Comes Out of Retirement to Rejoin Dallas Cowboys
Who would leave a multi-million dollar TV job to go back and risk injury.... Jason Witten that’s who!
Earlier today the Dallas Cowboys announced that the 36-year-old Pro- Bowler and future Hall of Fame tight end will be leaving ESPN to play for the Dallas Cowboys again.
On the Dallas Cowboys website, Witten announced:
“The fire inside of me to compete and play this game is just burning too strong,” Witten said in a statement. “This team has a great group of rising young stars, and I want to help them make a run at a championship. This was completely my decision, and I am very comfortable with it. I’m looking forward to getting back in the dirt.”
The Dallas Cowboys finished 10-6 last year!
