Drake wrapped up the OVO Fest in Toronto last night (Aug. 1) by bringing Kanye West out on stage, as the fourth and final guest. But fans got really excited when Kanye made a special announcement—asking the crowd, "is y'all ready for this album?"

As Fader points out, Kanye had previously teased the possibility of a collaboration with Drake around 2015 during an interview with the Breakfast Club. Around that same time,  he tweeted that he'd been in the studio with Future and Drake and they had new music together that would drop soon. That was over a year ago, so there's no telling how soon Kanye's announcement will actually happen.

Obviously, neither Kanye nor Drake are opposed to doing a collab album with other rappers. And if an album is in the works, Drake will be super busy, especially since he recently announced that a joint album with Gucci Mane is also coming. Their collaboration seems extra fitting, seeing as how they're currently occupying the No.1 and No. 2 spot on Billboard, with Drake's Views continuing to dominate.

Album teasers aside, while on stage, Drake and Kanye performed "Pop Style" and Kanye did a couple of solo songs, including "Father Stretch My Hands" and "Runaway." Over the course of the festival, Drake's "special surprises" haven't disappointed. The night before, he was joined on stage by Rihanna, and the two performed "Too Good" together live for the first time.
