Killeen man dead after losing control of vehicle slamming into building

An unidentified man died yesterday after his vehicle crashed into a National Guard Building on Little Nolan Road in Killeen.

Police report the unidentified man, who was traveling by himself, hit a dip in the road after traveling at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his 2005 Pontiac.

The victim then tried to "over-correct"  his vehicle after hitting the curb shortly after that he hit the side of the building.

A witness informed police where the victim was pronounced dead minutes later.

The amount of damage caused to the building has not been determined at press time.
