Killeen Robbery Victim Dies Of Heart Attack

A man found unconscious after being badly beaten in an apartment complex in Killeen died yesterday.

Killeen Police spokesperson Ofelia Miramontez said the victim was approached by "three or four people" at the Morgan Manor Apartments.

Reportedly, a preliminary investigation revealed there was a verbal altercation between the victim and the suspects. The victim was brutally attacked and sustained multiple injuries after the suspects fled the scene.

The victim apparently suffered a heart attack and passed away at Seton Medical Center in Harker Heights.
