KISD Custodian becomes Santa Claus to Spread Holiday Cheer in Killeen

“I just want my Daddy home for Christmas,” is what a four-year-old boy whispered in Santa’s ear on Saturday.

Hundreds of people came from all over Texas to take their picture with Central Texas’ Black Santa Claus Lucio Norris.

Norris, who is the lead custodian at Clarke Elementary School in Killeen transformed into Jolly Ole’ St. Nick, having no idea how emotional fulfilling the job would be. “Celebrating our culture through the eyes of a child and seeing the smiles, the laughter, the joy was indescribable,” the 27-year Army veteran said.

He'll be making his last stop in Central Tx on Sunday at Phileo’s Event Venue in Killeen.

Black Santa’s Village will be from 12p- 5p and has food, activities, games, prizes and Christmas vendors.
