KISD students compete in the 7th annual Elementary Science Olympiad at Killeen High School

Over the weekend, hundreds of Killeen elementary students competed in the 7th annual Elementary Science Olympiad at Killeen High School.

Saturday Morning, 435 3rd through 5th graders participated in projects put together by teams of 15 students from 29 KISD elementary schools.

Representatives from Killeen's ISD Education Foundation along with teachers, administrators and other staff from KISD volunteered and helped organize and administer exhibits.

Winners of the first place trophy went to Clifton Park Elementary, Skipcha Elementary took second place while Dousa Elementary finished third and Fowler Elementary won the sportsmanship award.
