A Lil Wayne concert in Atlanta descended in to chaos and left a dozen injured over the weekend, according to numerous reports.

Atlanta Police Department representatives believe someone in the crowd reported gunshots during Weezy's set at the A3C Hip Hop Festival and Conference last night (Oct. 7). A stampede ensued, leaving at least 12 people with minor injuries after they attempted to escape by jumping over fences.

Wayne was performing his single "Believe Me" before people took off running, chaotic footage from those in attendance shows. Shortly after the incident, he tweeted out: "Hope everyone at A3C is safe!!"

In a press statement released by the police department, they confirm there's no evidence that gunfire erupted. "It appears someone in the crowd at the event located in the area of Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. and Central Ave. yelled that they heard gunshots. This caused people at the event to flee the location," it begins. "At this time we haven't been able to locate any evidence that support claims that shots were fired."

A3C also issued a statement expressing disappointment that the festival ended that way, during an event that was otherwise "an amazing week of music, friendship and connections."

The A3C show was slated to be the Billboard chart topper's first time performing tracks from Tha Carter V in a public arena. The long-awaited album has been celebrated by many since its Sept. 28 release, with some even participating in a dance challenge inspired by Wayne and Swizz Beatz's "Uproar" track.

Tha Carter V also sees features from Nicki Minaj, Kendrick Lamar and the late XXXTentacion. X's vocals were used on the chorus of "Don't Cry" and were given to Wayne by producer Z3n.
