Man Arrested For The Murder Of A Texas A&M Student

A man has been arrested by College Station police for the murder of a Texas A&M student.

Victor Manuel Garcia-Loyo was arrested for the for murder of Maricarmen Quiroz-Octaviano, who police say he was dating. Officers found him with a 9mm handgun and what appeared to be a gunshot wound to his hand after he did not show up to be interviewed at the police station. When police finally interview Garcia-Loyo, he admitted to shooting Quiroz-Octaviano during an argument in her apartment on September 16th, which also resulted in the gun shot wound to his hand.
