A man from Oklahoma is facing felony animal abuse charges after inflicting life threatening head trauma to a 3 lb puppy.

According to a report from KFOR, Ryan Adams, 28, was caught on camera holding a puppy by the neck and then seen launching the animal approximately 30 feet into the air and letting her hit the ground. Minutes later, Adam is seen back outside to retrieve the small animal.

The puppy, Little Foot, is a six-month-old long-haired Chihuahua who weighs only 3 pounds. Chrystal Bolling, Little Foot's owner, was unaware of the situation that unraveled outside. Bolling was told by Adams that he found the puppy injured outside, and that he believed a cat attacked Littlefoot.

Luckily, neighbors would reveal the true monster that hurt Littlefoot.

Adams is a friend of Bollings roommate, and even offered to rush the puppy to the vet. Bolling's boyfriend, Jeremiah Cook, said he was suspicious of Adams after he examined Littlefoot and found no bite marks. Cook also found it very strange that Adams asked the couple if their cameras were working. Unfortunately, they weren't.

However, a 911 call was placed by a neighbor, and he told police that he "heard some yelping, and then I saw this little puppy flying through the air- about 30 feet in the air."

The neighbor's cameras also caught the horrific act from start to finish.

Police arrived at the veterinarian clinic and confronted Adams, who denied his involvement. Adams was arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center and is now facing felony animal abuse charges.

Littlefoot now has permanent brain damage and is in the custody of Animal Welfare, and her future is unsure. Only someone truly evil harms an animal in this way and then plays hero afterwards.

If you witness animal abuse or suspect it's happening, please reach out to local authorities or contact the SPCA of Texas.
