Authorities say the explosion was caused when the truck ran into a gas supply tank, according to KXXV. The fire caused the Twin Creeks Apartment complex to be evacuated and the fire spread to Mickey's convenience store on Veteran's Memorial Blvd. The gas supply tank had 2,600 gallons of gas left in it that hadn't been pumped into the underground tank.
