R. Kelly’s live-in girlfriends Azriel Clary and Joycelyn Savage defended their relationship with the singer in a new interview with Gayle King on CBS This Morning on Thursday (March 7).

The women told Gayle that they love Kelly, 52, and that there’s nothing inappropriate about their relationship with the veteran singer, who is currently in jail for failing to pay overdue child support.

During the interview, Azriel Clary, 21, revealed that it was her parents who pushed her to be with Kelly and encouraged her to record sexual videos with him.

"Okay, so when I first met Robert, my parents told me to lie about my age," she explained. "So when I met him, he thought that I was 18. On top of that, when I was 17, my parents were actually making me, trying to get me to take photos with him, take sexual videos with him, all kinds of stuff...because if they ever have to blackmail him, what they're trying to do now, they can use it against him, which is exactly what they're doing."

Joycelyn Savage, 23, nodded her head in agreement with Clary's claim and attested, "everything that she's saying is true."

Savage even added, "Both our parents are basically out here trying to get money and scam, because they didn't agree on what happened, you know, with music or whatever it could be. And they're just very upset."

CBS News will air Gayle King's full interview with R. Kelly and his two girlfriends on a special news program airing Friday (March 8) at 8 p.m. ET.
