Refuge Mobile Food Pantry is headed to Killeen Saturday to help families in need.

The Refuge Mobile Food Pantry is known for distributing free healthy and nutritious food in the Centex. This week, the pantry is headed to Killeen with more than just food.
Saturday, July 18, from 9 to 11 a.m., residents are invited to not only pick up free food, but to register to vote at Christian House Of Prayer, 3300 E Stan Schlueter Loop in Killeen.

To follow social distancing guidelines, the food will be distributed in a 'no-touch' model.

Attendees will be asked not to leave their car when picking up food. Every car must verbally register through the car window upon arrival, and food will be placed in the trunk by volunteers.

If you would like to register to vote, there will be a drive-thru registration area.

For more information call (254) 547-6753 or reach out to them on Facebook.

These distribution events have always been of great importance in our community, but they're even more vital now that so many of our friends and neighbors are experiencing financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. If your family could use food assistance, please don't hesitate to participate in this event.
