Salmonella Concern Causes Frito-Lay to Recall Jalapeno Chips
Frito Lay released a statement Friday saying that a seasoning blend that contains jalapeno powder could contain Salmonella.
According to the statement the company says no Salmonella was found and this is a precautionary measure Frito Lay is taking.
Jalapeño Flavored Lay’s Kettle Cooked potato chips and Jalapeño Flavored Miss Vickie’s Kettle Cooked potato chips with a guaranteed fresh date of July 4th are the chips being recalled.
Also multipacks with a guaranteed fresh date of July 4th are being recalled the flavors are as follows: The 12 count Lay’s Kettle Cooked Multipack Sack, The 20 count Frito- Lay Bold Mix Snack, The 30 count Miss Vickie's Multipack Tray, The 30 count Lay's Kettle Cooked Multipack Tray, and the 32 count of Miss Vickie's Multipack Boxes.
