Your first thought.....was probably "Wait...There Was A First?"

Yes, there was actually.....((a harp plays))

Let’s go back to 2007 when a man named Timothy Brown who is now HIV free, was cleared of the virus after he came off antiretroviral drugs, then received bone marrow stem cells from a donor that resisted HIV infection.

A guy in Britain did the same thing as Mr. Brown after a 3-year process the man received a bone marrow transplant from an HIV resistant donor and now his disease is untraceable.

One of the many doctors who treated the unidentified man, Dr. Ravindra Gupta who is also a professor at Cambridge University said:

"There’s no virus that we can measure we can’t detect anything, he's functionally cured and in remission, however, it’s too early to say he’s cured"

According to NBC News, 37 million people are infected with AIDS or HIV worldwide.
