Sending Unwanted Nudes in Texas can now get you locked up Brody….be careful
Yup.
This was in the works, four months ago.
And here we are, four days away from September 1st.
The last day in the state of Texas where you can send an unwanted nude is closely approaching.
After Sunday if you send a nude to anyone that didn't ask for it you are going to wish you didn't send it!
Under House State bill 2789, anyone who sends an unwanted unrequested nude without the expressed consent of the recipient shall be subject to a charge of Class C Misdemeanor and a fine of up to $500.
The Texas Tribune reports that this new law makes Texas one of the first states to act on sending sexually explicit images" saying 40% of women say they have received "inappropriate texts".
