As of today, there are 7 U.S. states where it's residents don't have to pay state tax according to Forbes, they are Florida, Alaska, Nevada, South Dakota, Washington, Wyoming and of course the great state of Texas.

In fact, according to KRIS-TV in Corpus, Christi, Texas has never had one, and back in 1993, a constitutional amendment gave voters the choice to approve one.

Now, a new measure being introduced by four republicans will be on the November 5th ballot will give voters the option to enact a tax on Texas citizens.

So basically we have the power to continue to vote no.

That's that, easy right?
