Tasty Tuesday: Hook and Reel Cajun Seafood Restaurant and Bar in Killeen

This is the first edition of "Tasty Tuesdays" right here on myb106.com, and for this inaugural episode, I wanted to get spicy.

Every Tuesday, I will go to a different restaurant here in Killeen, taste your food, and showcase it here on our fabulous website.

This week I selected Hook and Reel Seafood Restaurant and Bar located at 1701 E. Central Texas Expressway in Killeen.

Every time I drive by this place, be it a weeknight or weekend, there are tons of cars in the parking lot, which means the food is in high demand. So, I figured I’d check it out and see if it lives up to the hype.

Whether it's shrimp, mussels, or everybody’s favorite crab legs, Hook and Reel has got what you like!

The service was great too, and it didn’t take long for me to get my food before I started feeding my face.

See, no matter how good the food is, the service will always be what really brings people back, and Hook and Reel did not disappoint. Depending on what you order, you'll also get a little bit of theater at your table when they bring your food to you and shake it up! It's served in such a way that the heat, steam, and flavor are trapped until you're ready to dig in.

The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed, and they even have tasty drinks to pair with your order. Personally, I thought the margarita was a perfect compliment to my order. See if you can tell in the video.
