Temple Dentist Allows Volunteer Hours As Credit To Pay For Dental Work
Need some dental work, but don't have the coins for it? A dentist in Waco has a unique proposal that might just make your mouth and wallet happy!
This is dope! The Acre Wood Dental office in Waco is offering a "Dental Dollars Program," which allows people to trade in volunteer hours for dental services, according to Fox 44. The program allows people, who may not have the money for much needed dental work, to volunteer at non-profit organizations and use that as credit to pay for their dental work.

The dentist, Dr. Johnson, says the work that a person needs done will determine how may volunteer hours they need to complete in the allotted 6-months. And they don't have to do it alone, Depending on the work that needs to be done, will determine the amount of hours the patient needs to volunteer within six months, but they don't have to do it alone, family members can volunteer also, to help reach the volunteer hours goal! The program isn't completely free the patient will still have to pay a third of the cost. Acre Wood Dental has three CTX locations: Temple, Waco and Gatesville.
