Temple Family Giving Away Food for Less Fortunate on Thanksgiving
Frances Hedrick hit us up in the B106 facebook page inbox and asked for help getting the word out. Her family donates food every year for friends and neighbors in need, and they're continuing that tradition.
This year they are serving up food to the less fortunate at Jones Park, 1102 W Avenue H in Temple, Thanksgiving Day starting at Noon. They'll continue serving until the food runs out, so be sure to get there early. Let anyone you know who could benefit from this act of generosity know to get there early as well.
If you have any questions, you can write to Frances on Facebook.
Also, don't forget that H-E-B'S 20th annual Feast of Sharing is coming up in December.
This year's feast in Temple will be held Thursday, December 5 at the Mayborn Convention Center, 3303 North 3rd Street, from 4 PM to 8 PM.
Killeen's feast will be held Tuesday, December 17 from 4 PM to 8 PM at the Killeen Civic and Conference Center, 3601 South WS Young Drive.
Be sure to let your friends, family, and neighbors know about this free, fun, and delicious community event. If you'd like to get involved as a volunteer, get the details here.
