Temple Police Arrest Woman Following Wednesday Morning Stabbing
A 24-year-old Temple woman is in police custody after allegedly stabbing a man Wednesday morning.
Temple Police Department spokesman Cody Weems reports that officers were called to a home in the 500 block of South 29th Street around 9:47 AM, where they found a man with a stab wound to the chest. He was transported to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Mikayla Wofford was arrested following a preliminary investigation. Records indicate she was booked into the Bell County Jail at 9:20 PM and charged with an unspecified third degree felony. The exact charge and bond information were not listed Thursday.
