Terry McDermott Rocks ‘The Voice’ with ‘More Than a Feeling’
Terry McDermott rocked the house on ‘The Voice’ tonight (Nov. 12) with his powerful version of Boston’s ‘More Than a Feeling.’ He may not have been born in the U.S., but it’s clear that Americans can relate to him like he’s one of their own. “It’s extremely surreal to know that America has voted for a Scottish guy,” McDermott said.
His coach, Blake Shelton, is excited that he has been so well-received. “I’m so happy for Terry,” he said. “He’s winning people over. He deserves this.”
“That was damn good, bro … I really enjoyed the way the song allowed you to showcase your falsetto,” Cee Lo Green remarked, finishing up by saying, “The only thing I like more than your voice is your haircut.”
Adam Levine was stunned speechless by the singer’s gripping performance. A big fan of rock music himself, he had nothing but praise to send McDermott’s way. “I don’t even know if you guys realize how good Terry is … I can’t even talk!”
Shelton then delivered his closing remarks, echoing several points his fellow judges made. “Congratulations, man. You really are one of those guys who is just special …You represent classic rock and you come out here and own it every time.”
But is this Scotsman special enough to prevail? Stay tuned to ‘The Voice’ to find out!
