Because first responders are just that, first on the scene, a Texas bill has passed in the state Senate, to allow them to carry concealed weapons, according to CBS 7! The first-resonders covered by the Bill include paramedics and firefighters! A similar Bill is in the State House as well! The idea behind it is that first-responders are the first on the scene and may encounter dangers before police arrive.
