
New President Has Texas Moving Quickly To Combat Migrant Invasion
Texas authorities did not wait long at all to begin fortifying efforts to combat migrant crossings along the Mexican border. After the November election, many agencies have been biding their time, and preparing to move quickly once President Donald Trump was sworn into office, and one of those moves was continuing the placement of buoys on the Rio Grande River.

Some argue the buoys do nothing to deter border crossings, and even believe their placement is somehow altering the flow of the river which would mean they are causing more harm to the environment than good to combat the migrant invasion.
Texas Was Sued By The Last President For The Buoys.
Under President Biden, the Department of Justice sued Texas over what they believed was an overreach in power, and that only the Federal Government can determine how to manage our international borders. Texas leaders argued back that if the Federal Government was doing its job, then the Lone Star State would not have needed to step in.

Based on the above article, perhaps Texas needs to make sure its bordering states do not cross our borders just as much as the bordering countries. Either way, day one of the new presidency is already making bigger waves in Texas than the Gulf of America.
