Texas Man Downs 7 Beers on the Way to Turn Himself In to Police Even Though He Wasn’t Wanted
We've all heard of crazy stories or personally done something crazy when drunk, but this one takes the cake.
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that Billy Bob Hall, a Texas man who was on probation, thought he missed his check-in appointment and assumed there was a warrant out for his arrest. Responsible guy that he is, he turned himself in.
But not before having a drink or two.
Or seven.
Knowing there is a lack of beer and other adult beverages in jail, ol' Billy Bob decided he needed enough liquid courage to turn himself in, so he downed 7 brewskis before he went in!
There was just one problem - he wasn't wanted by the police!
Because he showed up to the Police Department three sheets to the wind, they charged him with public intoxication.
Thatta, boy Billy Bob!
