That time I called Lauren London the hip hop version of Coretta Scott King…

Paying attention to the impact of the death of Nipsey Hussle over the past 10 days made me think about Lauren London.

His famous actress girlfriend that is now a widow (they weren't married but you know what I mean) and how and why, I call her hip hop's Coretta Scott King.

Now before you think I'm trippin (many people do) let me explain.

I am saying “the hip-hop version” so its taken lightly.

I say that merely because she is the significant other, wife or whatever to a cultural icon that was killed....that's it....that’s all.

Some people took the comments to heart tho....and ran with it!
