Alright, enough is enough.

Since Monday there have been 5.7 million reports that the Dallas Cowboys have fired Jason Garrett. Heck, they even tried to make us believe Jerry Jones fired the entire coaching staff via a group text message.

But, as of now while I sit here writing this, Jason Garrett has not been fired. Who knows he may be fired before I hit publish. His contract officially expires on January 14th.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'm not completely convinced he won't be part of the Dallas Cowboys organization in some other position. I'm totally fine with that, he's a good guy.

He played for the team, he's a smart guy (he went to Princeton) and doesn't deserve all the hate he gets. Yes, he's just won a couple of playoff games in ten years, but the team has always been at least decent under his leadership. I understand decent isn't good enough for America's team, but it beats straight-up bad.

Well, let's see what happens. The next false report will be Jerry promoting him to GM.
