World's First Hip Hop Food Festival Is Coming To Houston

As Texas is back open and we are getting back to normal, there is a new festival coming that I'm sure you may want to take advantage of, especially if you like to eat!

On May 16th, the World's First Hip Hop Food Festival is coming to Houston at the Bayou City Event Center.

Say what?!

According to the Facebook invite, you can "Twerk with Turkey Legs, Bounce with Boudin, and Two-Step With Tacos"!

It's called The OMG Fest because, they say, the food will make you say, "Oh my God!"

Houston's finest DJs will spin the best Hip Hop, R&B, and Old School while you sample some Texas' best cuisine.

There are over 60 vendors that will have food ranging from pizza, nachos, BBQ (of course), funnel cakes, lobster, and much much much more!

Organizers say there'll be plenty of free parking available and lots of space to move around, plus hand sanitizer and handwashing stations will be available so you can wash up and be safe.

More information can be found on their Eventbrite page, where you can also purchase tickets. Kids and under are free, and while you're welcome to take a chair, they ask that you don't bring outside food or coolers.
