There’s A New Speed Limit On Adams Avenue In Temple

If you travel on Adams Avenue in Temple, there is a new speed limit in effect!

If you've been traveling on a part of Adams Avenue in Temple, you may have noticed the speed limit dropped! The change was due to a vote by Temple City Council, according to TDTNews.com. The ordinance lowers the speed limit to 45 mph from 50 on the section of road between Loop 363 and South Pea Ridge Road also known as FM 2305. TxDOT Director of Transportation, Kenny Henderson, told TDTNews.com, “This is a simple speed limit change on FM 2305. (Texas Department of Transportation) conducted a speed study, and the outcome of their study is that the speed limit needs to be lowered by five miles per hour.”
