Thrill-Seeking Texas Teen Dies On Dam

Michael Hughes of New Braunfels, who was 19-year-old, died doing a back-flip off millrace dam at Stokes Park at the San Marcos River. Officials say he hit his head while doing the back-flip into the water and did not resurface, according to MySA. Park rangers attempted CPR, but Hughes died at Central Texas Medical Center.
