Trina is gearing up to drop her new album, and while we have to wait until the new year to get it, she's revealing some intimate details about the project now. The Miami rapper stops by Hot 97 to chat with Ebro in the Morning, where she speaks on new music from herself and Nicki Minaj.

After the hosts talk to Trina about her friendship with the Queens rapper, who currently lives in her home city of Miami, the female MC talks about hearing a new record from Minaj's highly anticipated album around the 22:48-mark.

"I'ma just tell you this. I heard a record that she played for me that's just crazy," Trina explains. "It's just a crazy record...I haven't heard the album. I heard a record for the album. A record she did. It was Nicki. It was one of them you know...It was one of them records that you just get lost into that like, 'Oh, this is going to be a huge record.' You already know that from the gate. You ain't gotta stroke it. You got it figured out from the gate, 'Whoa, this is a big one right here.' This is to the side. And she was working on records, but this record she played me, whew!"

The hosts then ask Trina if her and Nicki are collaborating on anything for the future, to which she keeps things pretty mum while confirming that they have. "Yeah, we worked," she admits. "[I'm] just saying that."

This wouldn't be the first time Trina and Nicki have made music together. The rap powerhouses collaborated in 2010 on Trina's "Dang-A-Lang," which also featured Lady Saw.

Around the 10:47-mark, the "Baddest Bitch" entertainer reveals she's working on her upcoming album, which is slated to drop on Feb. 23, 2018. Trina confirms that she has a lot of Southern contenders, including 2 Chainz, Lil Boosie, Plies and more for the project.

"I worked with Tory Lanez," she reveals. "I worked with K. Michelle, of course, that was the second single. The Tory Lanez single is already out. I got 2 Chainz on the album...Plies. Lil Boosie's on the album. I got Kelly Price on a record, which is a real personal record. I added two more features. One is why the clearance wouldn't clear. So that's cleared. That's my third single. I'm excited about that. We have Dave East on the album."

After mentioning Dave East, the hosts then grill Trina about her connection with the Harlem rapper, and if he ever tried to hit on her.

"Dave...no, you know what? Dave is really a cool, cool guy," she states. "He's so laid-back. He's like a me, but a guy version."

As far as her attraction to him, Trina says that she does find him good-looking, but she leaves it at that.

"Of course he's attractive," she continues. "But I don't...Ebro is attractive, what do you mean? Attractive is a great thing, but you just leave it there."

Trina also discusses women in the hip-hop community, sexual harassment in the music industry and her role on the upcoming season of Love & Hip Hop Miami.
