Two-Car Crash North of Troy Backs up Traffic Along I35 Monday Afternoon

Southbound traffic was backed up from Troy to Bruceville-Eddy after a two-car collision on I35 Monday afternoon.

The crash near Mile Marker 310 shut down the left, southbound lane of I35 shortly before 2:30 PM, reducing traffic to a single lane and causing a backup of over 4 miles.

Jodi Wheatley with TxDOT said emergency responders were at the scene, but that the collision was classified as minor.

If your afternoon route takes you along southbound I35 between Bruceville-Eddy and Troy, we highly recommend finding an alternate route.
