When Usher touches a stage, there's no limit to the intricacies of his performance, and Sunday night's (June 26) rendition of "No Limit" at the BET Awards was no different, as the show-stopper was joined by Young Thug for their latest single. Ush busts the expected dance moves, turning up in proper fashion towards the tail end of the performance, but the entire routine was most notably marked by a politically charged sartorial choice. The back of Usher's black jacket read "Don't Trump America," a cautionary message to would-be voters.

The Ursh and Thugger collab first dropped earlier this month (June 9) as a TIDAL exclusive and will be featured on Usher's upcoming album Flawed, which is expected to drop some time this year. Produced by Brandon “B.A.M.” Hodge and Christopher Perry, the track is a nice compliment to Usher's previous single "Good Kisser." Flawed will be the eighth studio release for the singer, and was originally supposed to drop in April but was obviously pushed back.

after T.I. called the presidential candidate "the upper echelon of the scum of the earth" and "the fanciest bag of fertilizer the world has to offer." As the November elections draw closer there may an uptick in some of the political messages disseminated from hip-hop's most influential figures, with Usher's jacket proving the creative lengths performers are willing to go to inspire their fans to take action.
