The city of Temple announced today that the extension of Westfield Boulevard is complete in West temple.

According to the city’s press release Drivers will now be able to access Airport Road from Prairieview Road.

It also describes this completion as an essential piece of the city of Temple's Transportation Capital Improvement plan that includes sidewalks and a new traffic signal at Airport Road.

“With the explosion of redevelopment in West Temple, this new collector will serve to increase mobility and decrease travel times for our residents,” said Richard Wilson, the City’s Engineer. “The new road will also provide neighborhoods in the area with more points of access.”
