On Mon., Feb. 20, Wiz Khalifa's sister Dorien "Lala" Thomaz passed away with their mother by her side. She was only 32 years old.

Today (Feb. 24), the "See You Again" performer used his Twitter account to thank his fans for supporting him through this dark time.  "The loss of my sibling has been the hardest thing Ive had to deal with but wiith your prayers and well wishes my family will get though this," reads the "Brand New" performer's tweet.

Two days ago, Wiz's mother posted a picture of Lala's obituary pamphlet onto her Instagram and captioned it with a quote from Robert Harling's book, Steel Magnolias. Her caption reads, "'... there was no noise, no tremble, just peace. Oh God(dess), I realized as a woman how lucky I am. I was there when that wonderful creature drifted into my life and I was there when she drifted out. It was the most precious moment of my life.'"

The pamphlet for Lala's obituary reads, "Dorien 'Lala' Thomaz passed away peacefully with her mother by her side on February 20, 2017. Lala was born on October 31, 1984 to Peachie and Laurence."

The rest of the pictured portion of the pamphlet requests that the funeral services for Lala remain private. Neither she nor any other members of Wiz's family have disclosed a cause of death. We send our prayers out to Wiz and all of his family during this very trying time in their lives.
