A Fight Over A Backpack Ends With The Death Of A Central Texas Man

A man in Hillsboro was killed in a fight over a backpack!

Hillsboro police said the incident happened around 2:20 a.m. Tuesday, according to KWTX. The victim, Glendaryl Montgomery, was found laying near the corner of Walnut and Waco streets. Police arrested Gregory Michael Mason, Jr. on Old Bynum Road. Mason was charged with murder,tampering with physical evidence related to the case and criminal trespassing on an unrelated offense.
