Belton High School Student Hit By Car While Jogging Has Died

The 16-year-old high school student was hit by a car while jogging Saturday, according to KWTX. Her GoFundMe page had the message, “Her family has decided to gift her organs so she will be in the hospital another 48 hours. She is now in the arms of her father and savior.” She was a student at Belton New Tech High School at Waskow. She was hit last Saturday, while jogging on Industrial Park Road in Belton. when a car hit her, leaving her with skull fractures and brain injuries. Rest in Peace!
