A young boy from Killeen, Texas touched the lives all around the country last year when his mailbox was flooded with birthday cards from friends, family and strangers. It was his mother, Tanisha Davis' idea. She explained he used to get the mail and bring it to her and thought how great it would be if every day he found something in there for him.

Taliq Davis was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer and had the world rallying around him. Even Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors developed a relationship with him over the last couple years. It was with a heavy heart we reported his passing last Monday.

Now the Davis family needs support from its community and it's great to see they are getting it. If you like, you can help either through positive thoughts and prayer, donating at Tanisha's GoFundMe campaign or by ordering Pizza Hut from Friday, September 30 to Sunday, October 2.

All participating Pizza Huts between Copperas Cove and Waco will be donating 20% of all proceeds between September 30 and October 2 to help Tanisha and her family during a very difficult time for them. You must mention the Taliq Davis fundraiser or show a copy of the flyer.

The fundraiser goes for dine-in, carry-out and delivery. For online order, put "Taliq Davis fundraiser" in the notes.

You can find local Pizza Hut locations here.

There will also be an auction on October 1 to help children with cancer. For more information please call 254-931-1194.
