Ellison High School student arrested after making threat

Parents have to teach their children that threats can be taken seriously and children need to understand that you can get in a lot of trouble for making a threat especially a terroristic threat!

A ninth grader over at Ellison high school was arrested after she made a terroristic threat of violence against the school.

The principal David Dominguez notified parents of the arrest by phone and a recorded message that said:

“Parents, please help us to make sure students know that if they ever make a threat against the school, they be charged with a felony and sent to jail or juvenile detention. The safety of everyone on campus is always our highest priority, and no threat such as this will ever be tolerated on the campus of Ellison High School.”

KWTX reports that the school held an internet safety parent meeting and detailed the consequences if a student makes a threat, just last week.
