Harker Heights Teen Claims He Was Abducted Because He Was Late To School! [Video]

A teen in Harker Heights made up a story about being abducted, because he was late to school!

The 13-year-old told police that a man tried to kidnap him as he was walking to school on Tuesday, according to KCEN. The phony incident, allegedly happened near Union Grove Middle School.

The teen claimed that the man offered him a ride and when he refused, tried to force the teen into his vehicle. He said another car pulled up and scared the man off. Police have determined that it was all a hoax and have closed the attempted kidnapping case, but the teen may be charged!
