House Fire Takes All From Killeen Family
A local family was displaced after a fire consumed their home Tuesday night.
According to Tianna Jenkins and our news partner, KWTX, the fire took place in the 300 block of Little Dipper Drive in Killeen.
Killeen firefighters arrived at the scene just before 8 p.m. Members of the fire crew said four children were inside the home when the blaze started, but they managed to escape.
The fire spread all the way to the attic of the home, and it took fire crews multiple hours to extinguish it. The house is a total loss.
Investigators say there aren't any signs of arson. The family displaced by the fire is staying at a neighbor's house for the time being.
